Cleveland Cavaliers Fire Head Coach J.B. Bickerstaff
The Cleveland Cavaliers fired their head coach J.B. Bickerstaff after five seasons according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. He is further reporting that the Cavaliers will make a list of replacement candidates in the coming days and that Golden State Warriors' assistant Kenny Atkinson may be a candidate for the position.
The Cavaliers nearly got swept in their series against the Boston Celtics who beat them 4-1 in the series. The series was not competitive and led to the Cavaliers' fanbase and NBA fans alike questioning Bickerstaff's head coaching performance. As a result, the Cavaliers fired Bickerstaff and will now look to find a replacement to lead them into the future.
