The Patriots overhauled their coaching staff this offseason when they parted ways with Bill Belichick. The Patriots drafted one of the top quarterbacks in the draft by taking North Carolina quarterback Drake Maye with the third overall pick. They also drafted Tennessee quarterback Joe Milton III in the later rounds.
