The Texans improved their secondary by drafting Georgia cornerback Kamari Lassiter and USC safety Calen Bullock. The Texans then bolstered their offensive line depth by drafting Notre Dame offensive tackle Blake Fisher and Michigan offensive tackle LaDarius Henderson. The Texans enter the 2024 season with an improved roster that now includes star wide receiver Stephon Diggs who they acquired during the offseason via trade.
