In this year's draft, the 49ers sought to hedge their uncertain future at the wide receiver position by drafting two wide receivers. On the offensive side of the ball, the 49ers drafted Florida wide receiver Ricky Pearsall, Kansas offensive tackle Dominick Puni, Louisville running back Isaac Guerendo, Arizona wide receiver Jacob Cowing, and USC guard Jarrett Kingston.
