The Los Angeles Chargers wrapped up their 2024 draft class with nine selections. As part of their draft class, the Chargers drafted Michigan linebacker Junior Colson in round 3 with the 69th overall pick. They also drafted Michigan wide receiver Cornelius Johnson in round 7 with the 253rd overall pick.

The Chargers entered the draft with a new head coach in Jim Harbaugh who is notorious for wanting to build up the trenches. He contributed to that strategy by drafting Notre Dame offensive tackle Joe Alt and Alabama defensive tackle Justin Eboigbe. The Chargers also drafted Jim Harbaugh's former Michigan linebacker Junior Colson.

In the later rounds, the Chargers focused on drafting secondary depth and offensive playmakers. In regards to secondary depth, the Chargers drafted Maryland cornerback Tarheeb Still and Notre Dame cornerback Cam Hart. With respect to offensive playmakers, the Chargers drafted Troy running back Kimani Vidal, USC wide receiver Brenden Rice, and Michigan wide receiver Cornelius Johnson. The Chargers enter the 2024 season with a new-look roster after trading Pro Bowl wide receiver Keenan Allen to the Bears amidst other significant roster changes.
