Quarterback Carson Wentz Signs with the Rams After the Jets Decline to Sign Him

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport is reporting that former Philadelphia Eagles, Indianapolis Colts, and Washington Commanders’ quarterback Carson Wentz has signed with the Los Angeles Rams. Rapoport is further reporting that Wentz’s camp reached out to the New York Jets about prospectively signing with the struggling team, but the New York Jets declined to make Wentz an offer.

This revelation comes on the heals of New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson’s struggles as he has been tasked to lead the offense as quarterback Aaron Rodgers recovers from a torn achilles.
