NCAA Football: Iowa Defeated Illinois 15-13

The Iowa Hawkeyes defeated the Illinois Fighting Illini 15-13. Iowa quarterback Deacon Hill led the charge for the Hawkeyes completing 19 of his 29 passes throwing for 167 yards and 1 touchdown helping Iowa beat Illinois. Iowa running back Leshon Williams also ran for 54 yards on 16 carries. 

Leading the charge for the Fighting Illini, Illinois quarterback John Paddock completed 22 of his 47 passes for 215 yards. Whereas Illinois running back Reggie Love III ran for 64 yards and 1 touchdown on 18 carries. Despite these efforts, the Hawkeyes squeaked out the win. Next week, Iowa will end the regular season playing Nebraska whereas Illinois will play their in-state rival Northwestern.
