Google to Begin Manufacturing Drones & Pixel Phones in India
The BBC's Cherylann Mollan is reporting that Google "will soon begin" manufacturing drones and Pixel 8 phones in India as part of a deal between Google and Foxconn according to BBC sources. Google originally announced its plans to manufacture its Pixel phones in India back on October 19th, 2023.
Mollan is also reporting that the Foxconn facility that will manufacture the Pixel 8 phones is located in Tamil Nadu, India, which is nearby an existing Foxconn facility that already manufactures Apple iPhones.
