New England Patriots Draft Drake Maye with the 3rd Pick of the 2024 NFL Draft

The New England Patriots drafted North Carolina quarterback Drake Maye with the third pick of the 2024 NFL Draft. Before making this selection, it was assumed that the Patriots would take a quarterback with the third overall pick.

Last season, the Patriots finished with a horrible 4-13 record to finish the season. In the offseason, Bill Belichick and the Patriots mutually decided to part ways, which led to the Patriots hiring first-time head coach Jerod Mayo. Mayo will now work with Maye to turn around this struggling franchise.
