The NFL has informed teams that there will be no supplemental draft this year. The last supplemental draft was held in 2023. Although no players were selected.

The last time a player was taken in a supplemental draft was in 2019. In that supplemental draft, the Arizona Cardinals gave up a fifth-round pick to take Washington State safety Jalen Thompson. The most recent "big name" taken in the NFL's supplemental draft was back in 2012 when the Cleveland Browns drafted wide receiver Josh Gordon.
