The Brooklyn Nets re-signed center Nic Claxton to a four-year contract extension according to Adrian Wojnarowski. The four-year contract extension is worth $100 million.

Last season, Claxton averaged 11.8 PPG, 9.9 REB, 2.1 AST, and a 62.9 FG%. The Nets recently traded Mikal Bridges to the New York Knicks signaling their intention for a rebuild. Claxton is only twenty-five years old. Given his young age, it seems the Nets have Claxton in their long-term rebuild plans.
