In Travis’ absence, Florida State backup quarterback Tate Rodemaker led the Seminoles completing 13 of his 23 passes throwing for 217 yards and 2 touchdowns helping Florida State overcome North Alabama. Florida State running back C.J. Campbell Jr. also helped Florida State in Travis’ absence by rushing for 78 yards and 1 touchdown on 3 carries. Next week, Florida State faces their in-state rival Florida.
