The Texas Longhorns defeated the Iowa State Cyclones 26-16. Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers led the offensive attack completing 23 of 33 of his passes throwing for 281 yards and 2 touchdowns helping his Longhorns take down the Cyclones. 

Texas running back C.J. Baxter also helped Texas by rushing for 117 yards on 20 carries. Next week, Texas faces Texas Tech and Iowa State faces Kansas State.
