The Nashville Predators re-signed goalie Juuse Saros to an eight-year contract extension according to TSN Hockey Insiders Pierre LeBrun and Chris Johnston. The deal has an average annual value of $7.74 million per year.

Last season, Saros went 35-24-5 with a 0.906 save percentage and a 2.86 goals-against average. Saros' impressive efforts led the Predators to a 47-30-5 regular season record and a trip to the Western Conference wild card slot. The Predators originally drafted Saros in the fourth-round with the ninety-ninth overall pick of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.
