The NHL’s New Jersey Devils hired Sheldon Keefe as their new head coach. Keefe signed a four-year contract with the Devils.

Last season, the Devils finished their season with a 38-39-5 overall record. Before coaching for the Devils, Keefe coached for the Toronto Maple Leafs. Before becoming an NHL coach, Keefe played for the Tampa Bay Lightning.
